INTRODUCTION

In this brief introduction to the podcast I provide an overview of the show and some information on the current state of affordable housing in Australia, of course with a specific focus on the needs of older people on low incomes.

I named the podcast House Well Age Well after a quote from Professor Andrew Jones who said that “To age well, older people must be housed well.” That in a nutshell describes the purpose of this podcast. That is, a campaign to promote the importance of housing to enable older people to live well in their older years.
